Meet adam
Founder & Director
Adam is the founder of Burks Carpentry, a qualified carpenter and registered builder with extensive experience across residential and commercial construction.
Before establishing Burks Carpentry, Adam worked as a Site Foreman with ADCO Constructions, gaining valuable experience managing complex construction sites, coordinating trades and working within the systems and standards of a major commercial builder.
That experience continues to shape the way Burks Carpentry operates today. Adam understands what builders need from their carpentry team — skilled tradespeople, clear communication, accountability and people they can trust to get on with the job.
Still actively involved in the day-to-day delivery of projects, Adam leads the Burks Carpentry team from the front, maintaining high standards of workmanship while working collaboratively with builders, clients and other trades.
For Adam, it’s not just about completing the carpentry package. It’s about understanding the bigger project and doing our part to help deliver it successfully.
Meet Krissy
Business & Operations
While Adam leads the construction side of Burks Carpentry, Krissy keeps the business behind it moving.
With a background in interior design, Krissy brings an understanding of both the creative and practical sides of a project, alongside her role across business operations, client communication, systems and business development.
Her focus is on ensuring Burks Carpentry operates with the same professionalism behind the scenes that the team delivers on site — building strong relationships, creating better ways of working and providing a consistent experience for both clients and the team.
Her design background also brings an appreciation for the details, finishes and functionality that transform a well-built space into a well-considered one.
Together, Adam and Krissy bring different strengths to Burks Carpentry — construction, craftsmanship, design and business — united by the same goal: to build a company known for great people, quality work and relationships that last.
